Hello, all my favorite people! So glad to have you pop over to my blog.
So I have been de-clutter a room in my house and turned it into my little crochet/craft room. It’s not very big, but it is my own little space.
As a crafter who wouldn’t be thrilled right?
I live in an old style house, so the step up in this house is crazy.
Technically my little craft room is like a walk in closet kind of room and you have to walk through my bathroom to get to it.
But hey I won’t complain!
With all of that said and being a crocheter, I need some yarn décor.
I mean who wouldn’t love some great yarn items in their craft room right.
So, I thought a beautiful crochet pillow would look great on my glider.
Bellow is the written instructions to create this pattern. I hope you enjoy!
|ch(s) = Chain(s)
sp(s) = space(s)
st(s) = stitch(es)
sl st = Slip Stitch

|sc = Single Crochet
hdc = Half Double Crochet
RS = Right Side
WS = Wrong Side
FO = Finish Off
Hdc(dec) = Half double crochet decrees
Hdcfp= half double crochet front post.
Tape measure tape
Yarn- Lion Brand (vannas Choice in Mustard) 2 skeins
|Hook- 5.5mm (I)
(Notes – Everything is worked in Continuous rounds unless stated otherwise.)
Yarn in Mustard
Hook 5.5mm (I)
Round 1: In the second ch from the hook hdc 2, hdc the next 48 sts, 4 hdc sts in the last ch. You should have a total of (54). Now working on the other side of your ch hdc 48 sts across, 2 hdc in the last st. (104)
Round 2: hdc the next 4 sts, hdcfp 4 times. Repeat this around. (104)
(Note on the hdcfp.)
Round 3: hdc the next 4 sts, hdcfp 4 times. Repeat this till you reach the height you would like. I stopped after 2 skeins of yarn (15” width 12”height) (make sure it’s lined up with the same st. So if you’re working on hdc you want to be keeping the same st pattern for each row to create the same look. Once you have finished add your polyfill and sew shut.)
Donations are greatly appreciated. There is a lot of expenses to run a blog and materials to create the free patterns. Thanks and come again. Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook at Just crafting around
